We Care

Giving Back

Arthrex Nevada takes pride in being an active member of the communities we work in.

In Appreciation of Medical Workers

Arthrex Nevada has an overwhelming appreciation for all of the medical workers on the front lines fighting COVID-19. In early April of 2020, Arthrex Nevada  gladly donated PPE (surgical gowns and boot covers) to one of our local hospitals. We hope every little bit helped keep the medical staff safe during this time.

Supporting the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation

At Arthrex Nevada, we are honored to have the privilege to volunteer with the the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. Annually, we host a large private event to raise donations for the NVCCF and give 100% of the proceeds to the foundation. Aside from the event we host, our family and staff also partake in the foundations three-day Camp Cart Wheel. The camp is a medically supervised cost-free program for children that have cancer and other life threatening illnesses.

In November of 2019, some of the Arthrex Nevada team attended the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation Gala. We are proud that on a continuous basis several Arthrex Nevada team members make monthly donations toward this important cause. Together the Arthrex Nevada team donated $7,500 this year and hope to do even more next year! While we will continue our donations and we will be hosting our own fundraiser.

In 2018, Jim Goode and the team at Arthrex Nevada was honored for presenting the Evening of Love and Courage event. This event raised over $30,000 to benefit the families and children in our community fighting cancer, HIV/AIDS, sickle cell, blood, and immunologic diseases. In the coming year, we plan to raise $50,000 and donate 100% of the funds to the NVCCF.

In the coming year, we plan to raise over $50,000, 100% of which will be donated to NVCFF.

Celebrating Survivors with Lung Force

lung-force-19

Even though lung cancer is the number one cancer killer of men and women in the U.S., awareness of the disease and the importance of lung cancer screening for those at high risk is low. Arthrex Nevada was a sponsor of the Lung Force movement in 2019, helping fund research and raise awareness as a partner to the American Lung Association. Team members attended the November 9th Lung Force Walk in Henderson, Nevada.
